Motivation: What thrives me to work in Marketing, and follow a career in it, is, for one of many reasons, my long term interest in people and all the subjects involved in studying them, such as anthropology, sociology, and fundamentally psychology. All the niches and markets available to business and investiments are formed by people with real needs and wills. And for the companies willing to invest in and/or sell a certain product or service, is absolutly necessary to understand the individual parts of a segment so they can creat something unique, adapt or improve their visual identity and campaigns and ads and strategies to more effectively reach each and everyone of these possible consumers.
My favorite subject/task in Marketing (apart from the ideas area along with creating and visual concepts) would be consumer behavior, wich formaly speaking, is “The study of individuals, groups, or organizations and the processes they use to select, secure, use, and dispose of products, services, experiences, or ideas to satisfy needs and the impacts that these processes have on the consumer and society.” So basically, you have to understand to create and comunicate.
Another reason would be the vibrating aspects of this area, wich thrives with each moment, being different in matters of ideas and the mechanisms to apply them, using all sorts of new concepts, following technology and maintaining a really fast pace in terms of inovation.
